7th grade has an integer test Wednesday. Students have made their review cards in their Big Huge Labs online accounts. 8th grade has a quiz on Wednesday over one step equation solving. All grades will have a quiz on Wednesday.
6th grade: comparing numbers, estimation, properties, mental math, order of operations, place value, and prolbem solving 7th grade: Ordering numbers on a number line, rounding, adding decimals, subtracting decimals, multiplying decimals, dividing decimals, metric conversions, comparing numbers, absolute value, and problem solving. 8th grade: adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers, the rules for using integers, substituting variables in for integers and solving problems, Our theme this year is Be MARVELous and each 7th and 8th grader is to decorate their locker and the junior high hallway. Eighth grade students will have a quiz on Thursday, September 6 on absollute value, simplifying and evaluating expressions, as well as vocabulary from the first four lessons.
