Student Behaviors
Be prompt. All students should be in their seats when the bell rings and be ready to begin.
Be prepared. Read the board for the directions for the day. Have materials with you and ready. Be ready to learn and apply technology tools to solve problems. Use your unique talents and intelligence to promote positive change.
Be respectful. Every student has the right to a safe and secure classroom. You do not have the right to jeopardize that in any way. Be respectful of yourself, your environment, your fellow classmates and your teacher. Be a polite and positive participant. Value yourself. Be honest and ethical. Honor the ideas and opinions of others. Offer to help. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Show respect by being responsible with property and belongings.
Be productive. Turn in work on time, and always do your best. Challenge yourself to be productive. You are here; use your time wisely.
Be a problem solver. Correct problems quickly and peacefully before they escalate.
Be cooperative. Time and again you will be asked to do something that you may not like or think is worthless. Be mature; work through it. You may find that "getting there" is half the fun. Our world demands that you work well with others. Think--choose wisely.

Policies
Read and familiarize yourself with the student handbook. Follow these guidelines.
Food and beverages are not allowed in the classroom.
Technology use is a privilege, not a right. Follow the school guidelines regarding computer/ipad, clicker, calculator, cellphone, camera, and ipod/mp3 use.
I dismiss you, not the bell. Before you can leave my room, technology must be returned/computers logged off, and the room must be in order.
